Headed by Bolivian aviation legend Rolando Canedo, Lineas Aereas Canedo restored this C-46 to an immaculate standard. Fitted out in passenger configuration with 32 hand stitched leather seats, the company planned to fly the aircraft alongside their equally immaculate C-117D on charters in Bolivia. Unfortunately circumstances brought about largely by a downturn in the Bolivian economy meant the aircraft was seldom flown. Sadly, Rolando passed away in 2019 but both the C-46 and C-117 survive at Cochabamba.
