Between May 1974 and August 1981, seventeen standard C-130H's were delivered to the Air Force of Morocco, three of which have since been lost in accidents. In addition, two KC-130H tankers joined the fleet in late 1981. Most moroccan Hercules have initially carried the c/n as serial, before getting civilian registrations in the CNA-O.. range, which were later slightly changed to CN-AO.. The airframe seen here taking off in beautiful atumn light had picked up civil servants who conducted emergency response training in Switzerland. It was previously CNA-ON, but never carried the c/n 4876. This photo is copyright © Adrian Romang, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
