This Suisei (Comet - Allied reporting name 'Judy') was recovered engineless from Babo Airfield, Indonesia in 1991 and has been restored/rebuilt by the Planes of Fame Museum to a non-flying, ground-running, display condition. A non-original radial engine has been installed so as a result the cowling profile is not quite accurate. More than 2000 'Judy's were produced and only this example and one original in Japan have survived. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
