This 1972 Twin Com with counter-rotating props was registered new in the UK as G-BALP. In 1987 it was exported to Australia, becoming VH-HLP on 20 February that year. In April 2005 it was re-registered as VH-RMK(5), re-using one of the old Ansett regos - the previous holders being a C-47, a Viscount, a B727 and a B767.
