Built for USAAF as P-51D 44-75007. At the time the slide was taken it was owned by Jerry Brassfield/Pacific Military Air Museum. It was purchased in 1977 by Paul Poberezny, the founder of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). It is currently on display in the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
