This pristine Bonanza was bought new in 1974 by Stanbroke, a big pastoral company. It was registered VH-FCT on 30 August that year after Fort Constantine, one of their properties near Cloncurry, Qld. It's currently operated by Lilydale Flying School where it is occasionally used on charter to the Department of Sustainability and Environment for bushfire work using the callsign 'Bird Dog 382' This photo is copyright © Phil Vabre, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
