Delivered to Southwest September 9, 1996, this 737 had winglets installed in February 2009. The aircraft's last revenue flight occurred on September 29, 2017. It was stored several days later at Vicotrville, CA. The aircraft was sold to a leasing company on March 9, 2018 and leased to Kam Air (Afghanistan's first private commercial airline established in 2003) as YA-KMK on July 2019.
