Despite its current colourful but spurious colour scheme, this Argus was actually wartime production for the RAF as FK351, via lend-lease (ex USAAF 42-32155). After the war it was civilianised in the UK as G-AJXA prior to being exported to Australia. It was registered VH-CMB on 4 June 1954, with incorrect cn 362. Formerly based at Tyabb, it is now resident at Gatton, Qld. This photo is copyright © Phil Vabre, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
