After retirement from Air Malta service 9H-AAM was briefly used in the filming of the TV film "Crash" in "Skyline" titles (applied mirror image on the starboard side). With filming over, the aircraft was transferred to the Luqa fire dump in December 1986 were it was eventually destroyed.
