This 1977 Golden Eagle was originally registered in the USA as N44431. It was re-registered in Australia as VH-RWS(2) on 6 November 1986, although the first VH-RWS (an Emeraude) may not have actually taken up the rego. Smith's Trucks is a truck-sales mob based in Ballarat and Melbourne and the aircraft is in the house colours.
