This private strip, near the township of Riddell's Creek on Melbourne's northern outskirts, has only had a sealed runway for the last few years. What you can't see in this photo looking north-east is the big drop into the gully of Jackson's Creek which always makes taking off to the south a somewhat exciting prospect.
