Originally built as a F-89D, this a/c was converted to a F-89J in 1956. It was flown to the USAF Museum 12 September 1962, but was scrapped in October 1970 as it was replaced by another F-89J (52-1911). This slide was taken at the outdoor aircraft display area located next to the original museum on Patterson AFB.
