After its active military career in 1987, Starfighter 24+46 was kept as an instructional airframe at Eggebek and Schleswig. A restoration was started in 2013, and the fully restored airframe was seen at Teuge in July 2022 with markings "D-8060" of the Royal Netherlands AF.
