This Hunter was delivered to the Flugwaffe on 18 December 1959. It was used as a testbed for night operations and later also modified to operate with AGM-65 Maverick guided air-to-ground missiles (as pictured). The aircraft was retired in May 1995 and stored at Emmen. On 18 October 2001 the Hunter arrived at Eskilstuna (Sweden) and received registration SE-DXM. Inititally used for spares it was assigned to Avancerad Flygträning on Västerås (Sweden) on 22 May 2005 and since mid-2010 operated by the Swedish Air Force Heritage Flight in the colours of the 'Acro Hunters' team as 'G red 9'.
