This MB-339 is the 163rd frame produced and was the prototype for the C model. It was built in 1985 and first flew in December 1985. Its civil registration I-AMDA stands for AerMacchi Digital Avionics and in 1988 the plane flew a demonstration tour in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Australia. It made its last flight in March 1997 and was then stored at Venegono, before being loaned to Volandia in 2010 by Alenia Aermacchi. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
