This aircraft has one of those convoluted Aussie Tiger histories. Built to a wartime RAAF order by DHA Mascot as A17-225. Sold in 1946 to the Royal Aero Club of WA and registered VH-ARA. Later converted to a cropduster and re-registered VH-BTX . Withdrawn from use in 1963 after a ground fire. Restored to the register in 1994. Re-registered VH-MJW in March 2009. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.
