During the winter of 2021-2022, Air Mont Laurier converted DHC-3 Otter C-GGSC to turbine power in their hangar at the Ste-Véronique seaplane base on the shore of Lac Tibériade, north of Mont Tremblant, Quebec. This was one of the last radial engine Otters in Quebec and the owners elected to outfit the aircraft with a 750 hp General Electric H75-200 turboprop with is a modern derivative of the Czech made Walter M601 turboprop. GE acquired Walter Engines in 2008. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I. Swartz, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
