Docked in front of the relatively modern Waweig Lake Resort, which lay on the east side of Highway 527 twelve miles SSW of Armstrong, but was later abandoned. Taken on charge new by the US Army in 1958 as 57-6114. Became N5325G in 1975. Exported to Canada in 1993 as C-FQND. Vazar conversion in 1994 by Recon Air at Geraldton, ON. Sold to Vancouver Island Air in 2013.

During the early 1950s, the RNoAF used a three letter code system for its aircraft. This remained on some aircraft such as the Otters. The type code was O and the individual aircraft identification in this case was AF, making the full serial O-AF. Delivered as part of the first batch of Otters in April 1954, O-AF was assembled at the RNoAF's main depot at Kjeller AFB. Along with O-AG, it was part of Operasjon Pingvin in 1958 operating on the Antarctic ice shelf. Sold as LN-IKI in 1967 remaining in Norway until 1983. Later N4683K, C-FWAF, and N63354. During the early 1950s, the RNoAF used a three letter code system for its aircraft. This remained on some aircraft such as the Otters. The type code was O and the individual aircraft identification in this case was AF, making the full serial O-AF. Delivered as part of the first batch of Otters in April 1954, O-AF was assembled at the RNoAF's main depot at Kjeller AFB. Along with O-AG, it was part of Operasjon Pingvin in 1958 operating on the Antarctic ice shelf. Sold as LN-IKI in 1967 remaining in Norway until 1983. Later N4683K, C-FWAF, and N63354. The crewman is poised on the float to pass the mooring rope to a colleague deckhand who is waiting at the end of the landing stage. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1958 as UB651. Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge. After touching down on Lac La Ronge, gliding in to the Transwest Air base on the shore to tie up for the night. The crewman is poised on the float to pass the mooring rope to a colleague deckhand who is waiting at the end of the landing stage. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1958 as UB651. Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge. Joined the fleet of the newly formed Transwest Air in 2000.
