Preserved at the Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi, overlooking the city (in this time rainy weather), this F-4E was delivered to the Turkish air force on 9 October 1981. The Phantom served possibly 173 Filo first, and later on 172 Filo from Erhaç. The latter unit was disbanded in April 2009.
