Sitting at its slightly tilted platform on the edge of a steep hill, overlooking Konya city since early 2017. The Phantom entered Türk Hava Kuvvetleri service in October 1981 and its last unit, 172 Filo, was disbanded in April 2009.

The Konya Necmettin Erbakan university, a school of applied sciences, has a transportation and logistics department at this faculty which is probably why this Phantom and a Dauphin are on display here. The concrete platform was constructed by the end of 2016, and the occupants put in place early the next year.

Preserved at the Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi, overlooking the city (in this time rainy weather), this F-4E was delivered to the Turkish air force on 9 October 1981. The Phantom served possibly 173 Filo first, and later on 172 Filo from Erhaç. The latter unit was disbanded in April 2009. Since late 2019, the Spook was seen preserved at the Konya Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi.
