After departing the airshow on 2 June 1974 this SR-9E developed a severe engine oil leak which covered the windshield. An emergency landing was made near Chowchilla, CA. which is south of Merced. The a/c was damaged beyond repair, but all four aboard survived. This photo is copyright © Bob Thomas, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
