This C-47A was built at Oklahoma City and TOC with the USAAF as 42-92157. It went later to the RAF as FL565 and in 1944 was transferred to 28 Squadron SAAF Transport Squadron, that were then in Tripoli, Libya. After WWII the plane was incorporated fully into the SAAF and was based at Zwartkop but around 1960 it was SOC and ended up as ZS-NTE. By 2015 it was based in Germany and in March 2021 it became N249CM. It is pictured as part of the static display at this super show. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
