This DH-89A was built at the Brush Electrical Engineering Company Limited Falcon Works at Loughborough in Leicestershire, UK in 1942 and TOC with the RAF as NR777. After WWII it went to the Belgian AF as D-7 and placed into storage after retirement around 1955. In 1980 the frame was rediscovered and it was eventually transported by ship to New Zealand for restoration. In 1995 a CoA for ZK-SWR was issued and it was flown by some ex-Swissair pilots. In January 2015 the plane became G-ZSWR and then a year later D-IKFG. It is pictured on static display at this super show. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
