This East German built Il-14 was delivered as 403 to the NVA with a cargo interior but without the large cargo door and seating for 24/28 passengers. It was re-registered 426 in November 1958 and used the call sign DM-VAL as neccessary. The plane was damaged after a belly landing at Schoenefeld (SXF) in August 1969 but repaired. It was finally wfu in December 1980 and flown for the last time to LHSN as gift to this (Hungarian AF) museum, where it was preserved in these fake colours.
