1910 Deperdussin, maintained in flying condition by the Shuttleworth Collection. It had no "registration" and was allocated BAPC.4 after the British Aircraft Preservation Council was formed in 1967. The CAA later insisted all airworthy Shuttleworth Collection aeroplanes should be allocated civil registrations, so G-AANH (originally allocated to a Desoutter that was not built) was allocated in October 1981 although not worn. Still airworthy in 2022. This photo is copyright © Terry Dann, and may not be used or published in any way without permission. It was added on 12 September 2022, and has since been viewed 218 times. |
