Retired from RAF service with the A&AEE, Boscombe Down in 1968. Sold to Shuttleworth for restoration but not proceeded with. Registered as G-BSMF to Gordon Fraser, Switzerland on 5th September 1990. Reported on restoration in Arbroath, Scotland December 1993. De-registered April 2001 on sale to UAE. On display in Sharjah Museum, UAE, marked as "G-AKVW" in Gulf Aviation colours.

Loaned by the Air Council to the Shuttleworth Collection in late 1959. Seen here on static display, the first post-restoration flight was by Allen Wheeler two months later on 28 September 1972. The CAA later insisted all airworthy Shuttleworth Collection aeroplanes should have civil registrations, so unused G-AANJ was allocated in October 1981. The loan was reconfirmed in 1994 at which point maintenance serial 9239M was issued. The last flight was on 20 November 2003 when the loan was terminated and it went to RAF Cosford on 12 November 2003 where it has remained since in a dismantled state.

The rather unfortunate G-ANDE which has had several incidents and rebuilds over the years. It was the subject of a fatal mid-air collision with Jet Ranger G-AVSN at the Biggin Hill Air Fair on 15th May 1977 which I was unfortunate enough to witness. The crew of G-ANDE were unharmed although the aeroplane's undercarriage was complete taken out by the Jet Ranger.

1910 Bleriot, maintained in flying condition by the Shuttleworth Collection. It had no "registration" and was allocated BAPC.3 after the British Aircraft Preservation Council was formed in 1967. The CAA later insisted all airworthy Shuttleworth Collection aeroplanes should be allocated civil registrations, so G-AANG (originally allocated to a Desoutter that was not built) was allocated in October 1981 although not worn. Still airworthy in 2022.
