During its service life this Shackleton served with Nos. 201, 120 and 203 Squadrons based in Northern Ireland and Malta. It was flown to Duxford in 1972 but is currently stored in sections in the restoration hangar at the IWM. Hopefully, they will sometime find the time, space, money and resources to fully restore this beautiful aircraft to display standard. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
