from my collection, photographer unknown, aircraft started its life in 1942 in service as 41-7826 with the US Army Air Force; sold to LAI Linee Aeree Italiane as I-LENE in April 1947 and transferred to Alitalia Oct 1957; purchased by Ethiopian Airlines Feb 1965 and tragically crashed and w/o at Gondar Airport GDQ September 1972 This photo was added on 3 October 2022, and has since been viewed 1102 times. |
