F.I was the initial designation for the Dr.I, only given to airframes F.102/17 and F.103/17, which had curved tailplanes. Wikipedia says that F.102/17 arrived at Markebeke on 28 August 1917 and that Richthofen first flew it on 1 September. He shot down two enemy aircraft in two days.
