In service with 3 CAACU shortly before being withdrawn from use. The pod from this Vampire was owned by the late "Spitfire Man" Barry Wallond, safely stored somewhere on Newquay Cornwall Airport. Since 2020 it has been preserved by Stoneykirk Aviation Museum near Stranraer. This photo is copyright © Chris England, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
