"Ciudad de Valladolid" was with Iberia January 24, 1970 until March 1994 when it was withdrawn and leased to Austral Lineas Aereas. Becoming LV-WGU, the DC-9 was bought by the airline in July 1995 and flown until January 2000 when it was stored at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery airport in Buenos Aires .
