slide taken by Norbert Kröpfl. - Hercules c/n 4458 saw military service with the Imperial Iranian Air Force and later with the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force after the revolution in 1979, already re-registered as 5-8533. It has not been seen since decades, and rumours say that the aircraft could have been one of those destroyed during an Iraqi bomb raid at Shiraz in 1986.
