Delivered to the USAAF as 45-491 in 1945. Renamed to USAF in 1947. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code CC208 in 1972. Sold to Dross Metals then to Waig Aircraft in 1976. Registered as N406WA in 1979 and converted to a fire bomber then to ARDCO in 1982. To Florida Air Transport in 2006 and fire bombing tank removed. To Jet One Express in 2011. Damaged beyond repair when the nosewheel collapsed at San Juan, PR in 2012.
