Black Tusk Helicopters imported C-FBBT from Korea in June 2015. This well travelled aircraft was previously N3891J, JA9274, N314CR, N214NS, C-GTWL, and HL9152. It was previously operated in Canada by Transwest Helicopters in 2001-2002. Black Tusk bought a new Kaman K-Max C-FZVM in March 2021 for logging so its three Bell 214B-1s could be fully dedicated to firefighting, but the C-FZVM crashed in the ocean while logging near Killam Bay, BC on October 4, 2021. The family-owned company also operates two Bell 206B's, a Airbus AS350B2 and a new K-Max, C-FZVB, delivered in March 2022.
