This aircraft is really the former RAAF A68-170, built in 1949. Never actually off RAAF charge, it has been with the RAAF Museum since 1970 and was restored to flying condition during 1989-99. It's recently returned to the air with 100 SQN RAAF following an engine rebuild and some other work.
