Delivered in December 1981 this was the second F-27 to wear this serial, the first (an F-27-400M) having crashed in 1970. Operating with GA9, the type was widely used by LADE - Líneas Aéreas del Estado until replaced by SAAB 340s in 2007. TC-75 ended its service with GA2 at Parana/Gral.
