Delivered to the US Navy as R6D-1 Bu131578 in 1952. To the USAF as C-118A 51-17634 in 1958. Back to the US Navy as C-118B Bu131578 in 1964. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 8C038 in 1984. Sold as N578AS in 1989 then to Florida Aircraft Leasing as N4163Q in 1991. Cancelled from the register in 2005 as exported to the UK but never went there. Derelict at Aguadilla, Puerto Rico in 2006.
