Delivered to Northwest Orient Airlines as DC-6B N576 in 1957. To United Arab Airlines as SU-ANM in 1965 then to Sterling Airways as OY-STS in 1968. Sold as N515TS and converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter for Zantop International Airlines in 1973. To Wonder Air as ZS-MTE in 1990 then to Transair Cargo as 9Q-CMC in 1994. Reregistered as 9Q-CJX in 1976. They were renamed to TAC Air Services in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Rand, South Africa by 2002 and scrapped in 2004.

Delivered to Sabena as OO-CTM in 1954. To the West German Air Force as CA-024 in 1965 and converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter. Reserialled as 1302 in 1968. To Sterling Airways as OY-STY in 1969, Bellomy-Lawson Aviation as N515TY in 1973 and Trans Continental Airlines in 1978. To Air Transport Office as 9Q-CRH in 1995. Withdrawn from use at Kinshasa in 1997 and scrapped.

Delivered to Northeast Airlines as N6586C in 1957. Sold in 1969. To Air Freight International in 1972. Converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter in 1973. To Rosenbalm Aviation in 1976 then to Trans Continental Airlines in 1978. Stored at Detroit-Willow Run in 1992. Made airworthy for Air Cargo Express in 1998 then to Everts Air Cargo in 2003 and Everts Air Fuel by 2011. Still operational in 2023.

Delivered to Pan American World Airways as N6258C in 1954. To the Portuguese Air Force as 6703 in 1961 then to SATA as CS-TAN in 1976, Aero B as YV-296C in 1978 and to Universal Air;ines as N400UA in 1984. To Piedmont Air Transport in 1995 then to Woods Air Fuel in 1998, and Everts Air Cargo in 2003. Withdrawn from use at Fairbanks, AK by 2014.

Delivered to Alitalia as DC-6B I-DIMB in 1956 to Societa Aerea Mediterranea in 1963 and the Italian Air Force as MM61900 in 1964. Returned to Alitalia as I-DIMB in 1968 and converted to a DC-6A/B freighter. Sold as N4913R in 1972 then to Zantop International Airlines in 1973. Withdrawn from use at Detroit-Willow Run by 1987. To the Yankee Air Museum there in 1993. Scrapped in 2013.

Delivered to Western Air Lines as DC-6B N93125 in 1958. To Iran Air as EP-AEW in 1965 then to Conner Airlines as N28CA and converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter in 1973. To Woods Air Fuel in 1994 then to Air Cargo Express in 2001. Scrapped at Fairbanks, AK around 2003.

Withdrawn from use with titles and engines removed. Delivered to Northeast Airlines as N6582C in 1957. To Olympic Airways as SX-DAP in 1967. Sold as N111AP in 1972 and converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter for Zantop in 1973. To other owners after 1989. Scrapped at Detroit-Willow Run in 2006.

Delivered to the USAF as 53-3244 in 1955. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1974. Sold as N3434F in 1977 then reregistered as N22VX in 1986 and N70069 then N33VX in 1987. Destroyed in a fatal crash while doing an emergency landing due to loss of engine power at Golden Meadows, LA in 1988.

Delivered to United Airlines as DC-6B N37570 in 1956, Sold in 1968. Converted to a DC-6B(F) freighter in 1974. Reregistered as VQ-LAW then back to N37570 in 1975, HR-AKW in 1986, N37570 in 1988, XA-RMM then N37570 in 1990, 5Y-BMM in 1997 then to Universal Airlines as N600UA in 1998. Damaged beyond repair when the crew forgot to lower the landing gear before landing at Cold Bay, AK in 2011.

This DC-6 was originally delivered to Civil Air Transport - CAT as B1006 in September 1958 and went on to fly with Royal Air Lao (as XW-PFZ), Southern Air Transport (N93459) and TransContinental (N93459) before joining Air Atlantique in March 1987 as G-SIXC. In 2011 that registration was cancelled and it was converted into a restaurant at Coventry - Baginton (CVT) but was placed into storage at St. Athan in August 2021. In 2025 it is owned by GJD Services Ltd in its yard adjacent to SWAM.

Delivered to the USAF as MATS C-118A 53-3279 in August 1955; via MASDC to the US Navy as 533279 in March 1976. Again to MASDC in February 1985 (8C041) and placed on display, marked 0-33279. To N578AS in 1986 and operational in Florida early 1990s. Bought by Nighthawk Air Systems in 1995, leased to the Radial Reminiscence Preservation Group in Oakland (CA) for restoration in full United colours. Back to Nighthawk after lack of funds, flown to Texas, CofA renewed twice for NX578AS and eventually stored here. Just United's Mainliner Oakland emblem remains on the nose. Seen from outside the field.

Delivered to the USAF as 52-3261 in 1955. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1975. Sold as N90444 in 1978 then 5Y-BRP in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Lokichoggio, Kenya in 1996. Still there in 2008.

In September 1991 this aircraft was acquired by the Namibian company West Air Aviation, registered V5-WAC and used to support World Food Program relief efforts in Angola flying out of Rundu Air base in Northern Namibia. This operation was halted in 1994 and in July that year the aircraft was reported damaged beyond repair in a landing accident "somewhere in Namibia". Some reports state that it was registered 9Q-CVK at the time of the accident, a registration also carried by 2 different HS Andovers and a Lockheed Electra!
