Remanufactured from R4D-7 c/n 33121 in April 1952. Served with USN as R4D-8 39104 and converted to R4D-8T in January 1961, redesignated TC-117D in 1962. Withdrawn to Davis Monthan in July 1971 and spent 10 years in storage there before being registered as N5584M (ntu) in March 1980 and N5598M in August 1982. Operated with several Miami based companies until sale to Líneas Aéreas Darien Uraba in mid 1990. Registered as HK-3586X on 18 July 1990, then re-registered as HK-3586 on 5 July 1991.
