Delivered to the RAF as XS179 in 1963. Used as a ground trainer at Halton from 1973. Allocated maintenance serial was 8337M but painted as 8237M. To the University of Salford in 1993 then to the Museum of Science and Industry in 2003 and stored at Swinton and the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker, Nantwich, Cheshire in 2013.
