This photo was taken one day after K-3071 suffered a mishap at Gilze-Rijen Air Base. A tire burst upon take-off which caused the aircraft the overrun the runway and end up in a field. The aircraft was written off and subsequently used as a GIA at Gilze-Rijen carrying the fake serial "NAC-7". The remains were scrapped in 1998. This photo was added on 12 February 2023, and has since been viewed 452 times. |
