The HAL Prachand (in English "Fierce") is an indigenous built multi-role, light attack helicopter designed and manufactured by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) under the project name LCH. The Prachand has been ordered by the Indian Air Force and the Indian Army. HAL claims that the LCH's flight ceiling is the highest among all attack helicopters in the world. This was realized for the expected operation area in the north of India. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
