One of the prototypes of the Indian-designed HAL Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand could be seen on static display at Yelahanka during Aeroindia 2025. The Prachand has been ordered by both the Indian Air Force and the Indian Army. HAL has made considerable efforts to reduce the take-off weight of this helicopter in able to operate from high altitude in India's North.

The HAL Prachand (in English "Fierce") is an indigenous built multi-role, light attack helicopter designed and manufactured by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) under the project name LCH. The Prachand has been ordered by the Indian Air Force and the Indian Army. HAL claims that the LCH's flight ceiling is the highest among all attack helicopters in the world. This was realized for the expected operation area in the north of India.

Flying low and much faster than anticipated in the fading light over Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh for IAF's 90th Air Force Day, the "Prachand" (Hindi: Fierce) arrows past as part of the Dhanush formation. The LCH has been designed and manufactured in India in line with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of self-reliant India. It is equipped with an Elbit CoMPASS electro-optical pod, chin-mounted Nexter M621 20mm gun and 12-tube 70mm FZ231 rocket pods. Inducted in the IAF on 03 Oct 22, this LCH equips No. 143HU. It has a service ceiling of 6500m.

Up close with Limited Series Production 1 (LSP-01) Light Combat Helicopter on static display at Aero India 2021 outside Exhibition Hall E. This is the first look at the production model that follows four Technology Demonstrators (TD), which underwent comprehensive testing and weapons trials. The black box under the rotor is an IR suppressor fitted to the engine exhaust. The outermost launcher is for a pair of MBDA Mistral 2 air-to-air missiles. Inert 70mm rockets lie under the 20mm gun.
