As FLT 514 on Sunday December 1, 1974, this 727 departed CMH on a scheduled trip to Washington National airport, DCA. Because of a strong gusty crosswind at DCA it was diverted to Washington Dulles Airport. During an instrument approach in bad weather it prematurely descended and struck a mountain near Upperville, VA with the loss of all on board.
