XM135 was the 2nd production Lightning and served with the AFDU at RAF Coltishall,Norfolk for three years from 1961. It then joined No. 74 Squadron as part of the Fighter Command Aerobatic Team until 1964 After a period of storage and maintenance it joined the RAF Leuchars Target Facilities Flight and then No. 60 MU 1971.
