This was the only jet amongst the static exhibits at the Day of Open Hangars at LKLN and it was extremely popular with long queues to see into the cockpit. It is pictured right at the end of the day as it was about to be towed into a hangar. This historic old airfield is in danger of being closed and the site redeveloped. The airfield organised this event for people to come out and show their support. The attendance far exceeded the organisers' expectations and I really hope they will be successful in their fight against closure. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
