Flying time between Paris and London was about 90 minutes in the Wibault-Penhoët trimotor. Le Fougueux ran out of fuel just short of Croydon on 19 May 1934 and came down on a cricket pitch in Purley, without casualties. Later based in Dakar and renamed Ville de Kaolack. Reg cancelled in 1946. This photo was added on 19 March 2023, and has since been viewed 525 times. |
