Flying time between Paris and London was about 90 minutes in the Wibault-Penhoët trimotor. Le Fougueux ran out of fuel just short of Croydon on 19 May 1934 and came down on a cricket pitch in Purley, without casualties. Later based in Dakar and renamed Ville de Kaolack. Reg cancelled in 1946.

F-AKEK was the prototype of the 'Penhoët Wibault' 280T series, first flown in 1930 as F-ADEK. It was operated by CIDNA, then by Air France and modified a few times.
