Delivered to the US Army as OH-58A with serial 68-16771. It was converted to OH-58D with serial 85-24708 and later to OH-58D(I) with serial 92-00528. The Kiowa Warrior (also named KeeDoubleU) was placed into storage at 309th AMARG on 14 May 2015 and was sold as scrap to HVF West at Tucson (AZ) on 18 September 2017. The Kiowa Warrior is the armed version of the OH-58D and used for nap-of-the-earth flight profiles. The OH-58D(I) seen here is equipped with the distinctive Mast-Mounted Sight (MMS) above the main rotor.
