This Lanc was built by Victory Aircraft Ltd at Malton, ON and arrived in England during Jan. 1945 to serve with 428 Squadron. Post-war she returned to Canada and was used for a while as a Firebee drone mothership before being scrapped. At least the nose has survived and is on display beside an elevated walkway so visitors can see inside the cockpit, at the Canada Aviation & Space Museum. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
